The Lead Belly Letter

This is a copy of Sean Killeen's famous Lead Belly Letter, issue one, Autumn 1990. Sean lived in Ithaca, New York, and was an avid follower of the life and work of Lead Belly, as can be seen in his Letter, his life's greatest work. He didn't quite grasp why others didn't share his love of Lead Belly, and the Letter always struggled with low readership. (Lower than Sean would have wished). Even though he and I disagreed about certain aspects of the Lead Belly legend, we always enjoyed getting together and discussing our mutual obsession. The final issue was Fall, '96.
